Most rewarding or surprising teaching moment:   I love getting to know my students and their families.  It helps me to be a better teacher to them and find the best way for them to learn.  Every day is new and exciting!

What you love most about Lamont:   Because I am an alumnus from LCS, it is a joy to see the changes and growth that have taken place over the years.  It still has the "family feeling" and still provides a great education for the students.  Our love for God and our service to Him always has come first.

How you make Jesus Christ real to students:   I feel that I am Christ's representative all day, every day with everyone I meet.  I pray that my students will be able to see by my walk and talk that I love Jesus and want to serve Him better every day.  Then I can show them how they can have the same relationship with Him for the rest of their lives.

Favorite Bible passage:   Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.     --Proverbs 3:5-6.

Favorite hobbies, interests, and activities:   I enjoy reading knitting, crocheting, and spending time with my family, especially my four beautiful grandchildren!.
